Just thought I'd share my new best times, I'm pretty happy today. Went to NED yesterday, second time out with my new combo and made 3 passes, rain shortened day.......
First pass out of the trrailer and right to the starting line, after tech, street tires, 17lbs of boost, easy launch 9.80@139, had to lift after the launch and get it going straight again,
Back to the pits, put the 3 year old slicks on, turn up the boost to 21-22lbs. Bang..... 9.30@145.72, 1.41 60f Next pass, changed the plugs, left everything else the same, 1.39 60ft, hung onto 2nd gear too long, until it fell on it's face, then shifted 3rd and got a little squirrelly, 9.29@145.52mph. The goal was a .20, I'm there without having to put it on kill. I still jhave more tweaking to do, get some new slicks and I think I can cut at least a 10th or more off my time and not raise the boost. My next goal is to reach a 9.teen at the same boost level. By the way conditions at the track, weatherwise were not exactly ideal, around 75, cloudy, rained early and th clouds were waiting to burst. I think some better airwould have maybe given me a little better time.
