If it were mine, I'd get rid of the 7th injector and go bigger with 6 80lbers if you have the fuel pump to push em. I'd get a updated LS1 Maf and translator and add razors alky kit.

I'd also be looking at a different intercooler it looks awfully busy under that hood but that's just my opinion.

I would loose the Hooker headers, 7th injector, and the liquid intercooler. Go larger injectors...either 60's or 80's. Put Alky injection on it. Get a Powerlogger to get things dialed in. What are your plans for the car? Street or strip or both? Nice car!

It was a scan master on it. Mostly street pry take it to the track here a few times a year for the street legal drags only an 1/8 track though

I agree with most. Reverse engineer that build a bit. The 7th injector is old school to say the least. I'm sure everything works fine together, but tech has come a long way and made going faster easier.

currently cutting it the F loose

Probably has an old tech chip to match the old tech 7th injector. I't step up to a TT chip. No experience with a liquid cooler.

I'd do exactly this^^^...plus loose the liquid intercooler they worked but too many variables to go wrong with it..

How many cars in this new era of performance use water to air charge air cooling? I can only think of one....and it has 8 radiators.

The cars from Arizona and the guy told me the reason he went this intercooler setup was because the front mounts there have problems over heating down there when it gets over 100* outside. I won't have that problem up here. Can I just add an alky kit on as it is?

"and the guy told me the reason he went this intercooler setup was because the front mounts there have problems"

I call Bullshit.

It's hot here in AZ in the summer, all cars struggle to keep coolant temps down.

With a big front mount, a big assed aluminum radiator and dual fan setup, it will do just fine, if the driver isn't a total idiot.

I have the set up described in this post and run less than 200* in traffic on any hot weather, July or August late afternoon .

If I run the A/C in stop and go rush hour traffic, yes, it will get hot, no doubt, but we all know better than to try that, don't we?

I think notacarlo should cut it the F loose.:dead:

Congradulations on the buy! That's one good looking car.

Yes w/a TT-chip burned for it, and if money's not too tight , go w/the bigger injectors. Eric may have a sale on his TT site @ the time of your chip purchase and can burn the chip for them at the same time.

So I've decided to go with bigger injectors and get rid or the 7th injector. I think I'm going to buy the 80lbs flo match ones from turbo tweak with there chip combo. I want to get it burned for alky too. I plan on getting an alky kit in a few months. My question is can I install the injectors and chip if it's burn alky now or should I just wait until I get the alky kit. How do I disconnect the 7th injector? Can I just unplug it or remove the whole system do I need a block off plate for it to pull it off? I'm going to keep the intercooler for now cause I haven't heard anything bad about them except that there over priced and a good front mount will be just as good. If I needed an intercooler I would buy a front mount and save the money but since it's already on the car why remove it if it won't gain anything?

Disconnect the whole 7th injector system, when it was engineered it was only supposed to support the equivalent of having 36 or 42# injectors its old tech, back then their wasn't as many good choices in chip and bigger injector combos,... now your gonna need a new vacuum block (inexpensive), id still get a good front mount ,sell the liquid intercooler to an ATR collector /die-hard should be a trade off in price..Get the alki kit+chip all at once or your gonna hafta re-burn the chip...

I also didn't see brakes mentioned anywhere in the mod list. Think about putting some 'whoa' on that go.

That car looks sweet!!! Beautiful under the hood as well. Nice purchase. Im sure the intercooler you have is better than stock, so I personally wouldn't waste money upgrading a part that you might not need depending on how fast you plan to go. Yeah its old tech, but so what, if it aint broke I wouldn't fix it. The injector/chip combo and getting rid of the 7th injector would be my only immediate swap, and of course the supporting things that go with it like the vacuum block that someone before mentioned. Again, super nice car, and good luck with it all. Back under my rock.
