Let me be the first to say I'm drooling over your intake picture. Where did you buy and how much... (before anyone else asks..)

James

Otto posted the pics first:) Drool on his. Bought it from Tom at champion. I got the Canadian discount $695

Looks nice. Are those GN1-R heads? How about post what the inside of the intake and the ports looks like? Thanks.

Looks like your normal cast intake manifold to me.... what motor you guys using these on?

Those are TA heads and its on a stage 1 block, but can't be assembled due to i can't get a camshaft to fit the block. I have 3 cams here all need work to fit. Oil gallery get uncovered at .540 lift, i am stuck. WIll have more pics soon.

Norbs, I am still running old speed-pro hydraulic lifters in my stage 1,They seem to do pretty good to 7200.
I am going to use the new comp lifter soon though

new champion intake

I have champions first intake , i paid one thousand and fourty dollars full ported, i have their new heads with ports to match the intake,[heads are still boxed up] t&d rockers that will fit the new heads, 12 runs on the rockers their valve covers machined to fit over the rockers, i paid 4400,00 plus for the complete package, im thinking about selling them, norbs you are correct it is a nice intake, there is not a lot of difference from the bgc intake that i have, good luck with your new setup,

where'd you get those hi flowing composite packing peanuts? Those must improve fuel atomization :D

that is a sweet piece....but a sour price...damn student loans

Norbs do we have any idea how it flows verses a ported stock intake:confused:

Looks like a BG, Sweet piece:cool:

Those peanuts balance the flow. Tom at champion is waiting for some dyno results on the intake. I am sure RJC is doing some flow results. It seems some people run good with the bgc and some bad.

Keep us posted, I would like to see a full blown race ported stock intake verses this piece to see what the difference is.

Anybody know the rail size?

Can you get it polished?

If RJC has one, the flow numbers will show up along with a power plate.:)

Hey Norbs,

Why not sleeve the lifter bores and run the big lift cam???

The fittings on the rail are -8 in and -6 outlet. The rails are about 1" in diameter outside and pretty big inside. It will accept a stock Fuel press regulator but you must specify when you order it. I know RJC makes a powerplate for the BGC intake, but i think it will be to high to fit under the hood with that, its very high already

There is no shop in Canada i can trust to sleeve the lifter bores, I will just get the cam reground, but it all depends if the 210 cam in my stock block will take me to the low 10s or not. Then i will just use the same cam in this setup

Can you post any pictures of the inside and the port openings on the outside or you can send uncompressed pics to my e-mail.

the powerplate easily clears to hood....the damn coilpack bracket needs to be modified heavily to fit
