Not bad and $140 gets you the covers, washers and bolts.

Does not appear to come with the grommets though.

Anyone have them on a GN? How do they seal?

I have them on mine. They seal good. BUT the pass side is a pain if you still have the heat sheild where the heater box is. I took my heat shield off when i put my 3.5 downpipe on.

Thanks for the replies and pics, those like great with the factory "clean" intake. ;)

I guess these do come with the grommets, called them to find out.

Sounds like a great deal and as long as they seal, I am in.

I also took off the ac/heater box shield, damn was that last 7mm near the head a summa bitch.

Those are the same ones, that I attempted to trade you for the sheetmetal covers. I had mine milled flat by Champion before they shipped them out. I've since etched my logo into them.

Those look nice Scott. So they can mill them to a polish for you? How much?

I had to sell both sets of covers before due to the first one needing to get my money back and the second set I sold for the guy. He still has yet to email me back on getting the correct covers. I gave up on him after seeing those Champions.

They milled them flat for no additional charge. They were a little rough, so I block sanded them with 400 grit. Then put them on the polisher. They do not polish well. The machine shop guy thought they were an inferior grade of aluminum. He took a piece of scrap and had it looking like a mirror in about 5 seconds. But what you see is as good as I could get the valve covers.

I have mine on GN1 heads...used stock cork gaskets...sprayed both sides of gasket with hi-temp aluminum paint...no leaks...

Got a great deal - limited qty offer!

We still have a couple sets left from earlier in the year when we offered them online & in catalog. We since got away from OTHER manufacturers parts to concentrate on our own stuff. I haven't tried to advertise them & some other misc stuff, but here is the package I planned to do:

Set of covers (as pictured above) Buick with power 6 logo $139 + $10 shipped anywhere US48.
Included with them FREE are:

2 open element breathers (short for '84-85, tall for '86-87) (were $16 each),
2 grommets (not needed for above, but might need later),
PLATED (silver color) bolts & SS washers (exclusive done by us, rest of them rust)

Got 3 packages like that available, plus

Anyone can get 2 breathers ($32 value) for $30 and FREE shipping US48

and...

I have some extra sets of plated bolts for those that don't like the original ones getting rusty. They were $15 a set, selling for $15 & FREE shipping US48.

They are great covers, just had to get out of all that we didn't manufacture ourselves. Got too confusing here being small company & short handed.

PLEASE reply via E-Mail for this offer! Do NOT call in, cause Dave will answer the phone & have NO idea what you are talking about. Thanks!

PS- All are NEW in the box, and DON'T have gaskets. I personally like to RTV the gasket to the covers (super clean & dry), and then put RTV on gasket to head, BUT make sure head has good oil coating on sealing edge. This gives you perfect fit to any head, and lets them come back off later. Just don't mix them up or leave the oil off! Snug up, and let sit overnight, and tighten up.
