Hi! My name is Jr from the chicagoland area. I have a 86 Buick Regal With a 109 Block Trying to convert to hot air. The reason why I am coverting hot air Cuz its all i can afford right now. I will get cold air later when my funds is right. This is my first turbo regal project. I am trying to find out what i need to convert to hot air. I need to find hot air parts for cheap, and also Any tips on hot air conversion I really Appreciate it! Thank You!

The hardest thing you'll need to do is take the frame out so you can put the fuel lines in. No, I'm not kidding. A doner vehicle is a very good thing to have because it will save you a lot of time. Fuel tank is different and the harness is different as well so most of what you have isn't useful.

Where are you in the Chicago area? Lots of Buicks in the area.

Welcome. I am one of the few Chicagoland hot airs and it is true that intercooled parts are easier to find. The cost difference between hot air and intercooled is not that significant. I would just go intercooled from the start. There are alot of Buick people around you and will help. Brad
