Us there any reason or time to replace the flex plate? HP level? Or only if it is cracked?

if its cracked replace it, if your going to make over 500 rwhp and race the car is always a good idea to get one that has been SFI certified up to 12k rpm or if you are going to built a motor with a new forged bottom end with a china crank a neutral balance flexplate must be used..

nhra rules says under 10.0 et and you need an SFI flexplate

220.00 from jegs and jw is out of them till middle of this month. They are a lot cheaper with a nhra discount.

We have JWP SFI neutral balance and our own neutral balance non-SFI flexplates in stock. We also have a few non-SFI Pioneer external balance flexplates too. Let us know if we can help.
