That's sweet !!!! Care to share a little more about your new "toy box"? What are the dimensions, height, roof pitch......what are you using for heat and what ton A/C unit are you using? :-)

With that lift, you can tell your wife that you have room for another GN, for her, with 40,000 miles that she can park right under your's !!!

Nice place. Enjoy

wow. i want something like this but i want 2 lifts and be able to fit aleast 5 cars.

What is the final sq. footage? How many cars do you anticipate will fit in there comfortably?

I have plans drawn out and approved to start on mine. Just need to pull permits so I can get started.

Dimensions are 30'x50' or 1500 sq ft. 6-12 pitch with back half using the scissor trusses shown in pic. 10' tall side walls with 2x6 studs. R19 insulation through out. R12 8x10 overhead doors. 23,000 btu (2 ton?) wall mount ac unit. 80,000 btu furnace pulled from a trailer house.

Nice, that is about 10k less than what I was quoted on a 40 x 60 rigid steel building.

I've got garage envy. :D

How tall is the lift at the highest point?

right about 12' tall and 12' wide at the widest point of the base. The lift is the wider of two asymetric versions, the standard has 13" less width (and drive thru clearance.)

Way to go! Thats just nice all the way! You really need A/C in Duluth?!;) It takes alot of will power to stop working on your cars and get the shop built so you can get back to working on your cars comfortably!

Wow i want one  that is a nice garage i have to show this to the wife she might let me build one if she knew she didnt have to park outside anymore she hates brushing snow off the car in the winter...
