There is some mis-information there.
Those are all pictures of the GN's getting converted to GNX's.
The Picture that says "GN's waiting to be sold'--Are actually GNX's waiting to be shipped. The Lower 2 pictures are of GN's that have not gone thru the GNX change over yet.

There has been alot of discussion over GNX #001....I remember a board member posting pictures of it when he saw it at a show. (Maybe at Bowling Green last year?) Others say the prototype (which did have head and cam work) car was not GNX# 001, and it carried no number on it and as stated was eventually crushed.
I'm sure Joe Harrington could shed some light on the topic.

That's an understatement! Look at his page entitled 'GN History'.
2547 Grand Nationals built? A woman painted it red and sold the idea to Buick? Named after the track where it raced?
