I am planning on upgrading from a TA49 and 009's to something bigger and better. I already have a set of the high impedence 60lb injectors. I also plan on ordering one of the 911 converters with about 3200 stall. My question is what would be a good turbo that will carry me to a high 10 with traction and a good 60'? I also have a fmic that I still need to install. Thanks in advance.
 
I was looking at a te63-1. Is this a decent turbo? Would this work with my combo? Also if I could get some suggestions on some other mods to consider.
 
I saw the champion heads madefor our cars. Are they any good? Should I get the irons or aluminums? Should I just port the stock heads? My car still has the original valve springs. I have replacements, but am scared to put them on the original cam.

What replacements did you get? As long as the installed seat pressure is not higher than around 90-95# you will be fine with the stock cam.
Comp 980's seem to be the replacement of choice and have around 82# seat pressure at installed height depending on which dampener is used..either the internal spring or the external stock cups.
