New in the box GM part# 25535742 crankshaft. Rolled fillets and cross-drilled oiling. This is the last one I have after starting with (16) of them a few years ago, although I'm sure there are more out there somewhere.

PM me only with a reasonable offer if this interests you.

Thanks,

K.

lets put it this way, I got $200 for a never been cut but needing it crankshaft out of my 4.1 when I went with the Eagle one and even then I did it on a charity case basis I though. Even I'm insulted by that offer. Give him the dignity of atleast $400 and even that might be considered a steal.

I can buy a new 4340 Eagle crank for 400.00.Some of you guys really think you have gold when its only silver. This forum is supposed to help other turbo guys out,not get rich off of them with one sale.

No Flame intended but....

Just wondering where you can get an Eagle crank for $400? Also wanted to state that I see many USED standard turbo cranks go in the $300 range.

The Eagle crank requires an aftermarket balancer as well $$$$.

I sold (2) brand new GN cranks for $550 each a little over a year ago. The TTA's are supposed to be slightly better with the crossdrilling than the GN units.

last time i looked the eagle crank was $545 , where do you get one for 400, becuase i am in the market for one thanks

Yep and the Eagle still needs a BHJ neutral balance damper and flywheel OR some major weight reduction to match the stock stuff. Either way is still not cheap since most machinists will have some hours invested in labor removing the weight.
A stock crank is still the way to go dollar wise. So somewhere north of what gnx7 mentioned is probably good from a price standpoint.
Sorry to high jack the post. It just aggravated me too to see someone low ball the original poster since a new stock TTA crank is a nice piece to have.

i work in a high performance shop that has a full machine shop.
The eagle crank does not require a new balancer, just have to balance the crank. You do have to make chamfered bearings for it as it does not take standard ones.

Then why even inquire about this crank? If you really want a crank for a "high performance" application then I guess you have all the resources you need right there at your work place. Good luck with your endeavors.

Anyone else interested in a really nice piece?

Guy's,

FWIW, You can get an Eagle crank shipped to your door for less than $500. The jobber price on the crank is $450. Also a TTA crank is not stronger than a TR or 4.1 crank although it is cross drilled which helps the main bearing longevuty somewhat. On a final note I bought a new turbo crank from GM probably 4+ years ago when you could get them and they were over $500 back then.

Damn, Walt that is a pretty harsh statement!! Are you still working at M.O.R.E.? Looking at your previous posts it seems that this forum has helped you. We didn't see you at our Mooresville gathering last month, there was definitely some "help" to be had there.

Interesting to know who "gmgearhead" really is...
