I'm new to motorcycles.

I bought the one pictured below and the engine runs nicely but when I put it into gear it won't move. Can anyone offer suggestions?

I KNEW I shouldn't have bought it when it was snowing and I couldn't test drive it.

Thats funny. I had the same one and it ran fine.

Sounds like you've got a bad transfer case :)

The joke may be on me.

I saw that pic on the net, laughing at it and thinking what a neat photoshop job on the wheels. I posted it and the "story" as a joke.

Apparently those are real wheels since after your post I looked closer at the picture and realized there's some type of drive unit going to whatever goes around the outside of the triangular wheel.

So what the hell are those wheels? And is that rubber around the outside, kinda like tracks?

Actually they are making those bikes and marketing them here in the midwest.

you see the reason why the triangle wheels are this...

Our roads are so bad, like driving over moguls and whoop de-dos that when you add the triangle shape to the wheels they offset the up and down dips in the road thus smoothing out the ride:biggrin:
