Shame its a dumbed down Opel Speedster..I've seen them when I visit Germany, they are fast lil cars! 0-62 in 4.9 seconds !

I was against them until I learned of the amount of power the ecotech engine can handle. Now I'm awaiting what some of the twin turbo modded cars will put down. Car looks like a modern Bug Eyed Sprite...

They are building them right around the corner from where I live. I got a ride in one the other night for about an hour. I was VERY impressed.

Check out the Opel site...Maybe give us a glimpse of what we might be able to get here...I've read of 300+hp coming pretty easy from the euro version of the ecotec !!

rough conversion is 197hp and 184lb/ft tq.. top speed of 151mph

The first year the Ecotec will have about 180hp, next year it'll be supercharged with about 240hp.

The car looked great, turned a lot of heads, and handled really well too (18" wheels). Not a bad ride with a base price under $20k.

Saturns version looks better, Only thing I dont like is the saturn logo on the front.

Have they published any specs on the Saturn version? I agree with the logo problem. I wonder if it could be removed? Maybe put a dancing horse in its place? I wonder what a 240 HP Solstice would cost?
