I put a Comp roller cam and Morel roller lifters in my TTA and the pushrod length seems a little shorter than expected. Was expecting about 8.05", which is what Mike Light sent me but we are a little unsure why my measurement came to 7.90", this includes a 0.50" preload on the lifter.

Does anyone else run this combo and have their pushrod length to compare?

Yes..

The Morel lifter is .175 taller at the pushrod cup. Plus, roller rockers sometimes need a shorter pushrod.

If I am not mistaken my came in a 7.725. Felpro HG's...

I'm using stock rockers.

"The Morel lifter is .175 taller at the pushrod cup."

What are you comparing the Morel lifter to?

You should have used the pushrod checker before GUESSING the length. No biggie:)

IMO. You should upgrade to Harland Sharp Roller Rockers when going roller. Much stronger than the stock rockers.

I ended up with 7.900 I think with my comp cam lifters and harland sharp rockers ... was told 7.800 first so that is what I bought but didn't work so got myself a pushrod length checker and a solid lifter to measure the length properly ... so now got a set of 7.800 spare :-)

So you don't measure them with preload on a hyd lifter?

I was told to take the sping out of the lifter and fill it up with washers so making it into a solid lifter and then measure the length needed and it worked fine. I guess without doing it this way you risk compressing the lifter slightly and your measurement will be off (too long). So I ended up buying another pair of comp cam lifters to scrap :-(

I purchaced a set of Harland Sharp roller rockers, roller lifters and pushrods off "jdsgnx" and the pushrods are also 7.900". Haven't installed them yet but they were on JD's car for a short period and worked perfect.

I have Harland Sharpe Rockers on my car,i know squat of how they work,,but they are ajustable,,so dont you just need a push rod that is close and then adjust as needed...

As long as they are the standard Comp Lifter they should come in at 7.900
