I have an 83 t-type and I need to find a diffrent block. Any diffrences in years I need to watch out for or are they all interchangeable. I have a lead on a 1980 NA complete out of a cutlass

stuff it with the turbo guts out of the other block and the 80NA block should be just fine.

I don't think the 1980 NA will have a hole for the knock sensor. You'll want to drill and tap that before you install it!

I think Rich is right about the knock sensor. Unless it's a turbo block it shouldn't have the sensor hole if it was made before 81 if I remember right.
