New SMC Turbo Buick Kit or Alkycontrol (AKA Razor's)?

I am going to be ordering an Alky kit asap, I've narrowed it down to the new SMC turbo buick kit SMC Alcohol Injection

or the Alkycontrol (razor's) kit - WWW.ALKYCONTROL.COM

What I'm looking for before I decide is input on the pros and cons of each system from those who have used them, the alkycontrol system is a bit more than the SMC, but for this discussion "Price is no object" :biggrin:

The biggest factor I can see so far is the inherent support of having Razor on this forum, I don’t know if any of the SMC guys are active on the forums.

Does anyone have pics of the installed new SMC kit? I couldnt find any pics of where it injects the alky? Is it the same as razors?

Where does the razor kit mount the pump?

Are the in car controls the same or is does the SMC one have more features/control options?

Is he upgrading from the NEW SMC turbo buick system? or the old universal one? The new SMC kit is progressive, dont think the old one was.

One of the things I like about the SMC kit is the in car control with the Arm, Spray, and Low led lights. Does the Alkycontrol system have anything similiar to this?

Razor's kit has all that and then some!!!! You will not be dissapointed.

Boths kits work well and will perform well for you. Most people buy RAZOR's because of more readily available support.

Ordered up one of Razor's Kits a few minutes ago. Very nice talking on the phone with Razor, took the time to go over the system with me. Can't wait to get this installed and turn up the boost!

I have had the old 1st gen SMC kit for years and it has never failed me.....but for some reason I see myself holding a credit card receipt that says AlkyControl pretty darn soon.

You have successfully converted me.

If money was no object I would have bought the AlkyControl system. I will say the guy from SMC is wonderful to deal with, he mailed me a set of install instructions for free. Great guy!
