Hey guys, New guy here, I just bought a 87 TR drivetrain from Scott Reed on here. I am going to to do a cosmetic restoration on the motor and need the following stuff while I have it apart.

Gasket Set
timing chain
valve springs 80-100 lb?
plug wires, new or used
New coil
New cam sensor
Oil pump

This should get me started, what else should I replace for good measure while I have the motor on the engine stand? the motor is completely stock with around 100,000K on it and it has sat for 11 years, I test drove the car before motor was pulled, seemed to run good with slight hesitation on acceleration.

Injectors
sensors, cam crank and so on

Thanks for any help or advice in advance

I have a set of like new Merritt Racing plug wires in the For Sale section...will try to post pic of them tonight...

I have a gasket set, still need 80-100lb springs, timing chain, new coil, cam sensor, water pump, oil pump.

Do you guys think I should replace the oil pump for good measure or just leave it alone? Hi volume or stock pump?

Also looking for 42.5-60lb injectors and matching chip.

basically going to do all the basic mods, goal is to be in low 12's to high 11's with stock turbo, car weighs 3200lbs.

I have a brand new set of springs out of my champion irons-went to a roller cam-90-100 lbs-$60.00 shipped.
