What another world! New rechromed rims 15x8.5 w/ 4" offset with a 1/4" spacer to play it safe (on the back) with 275/60-15 Nitto 555's, New springs all the way around, New EdelBrock Performer IAS Shocks (these shocks kickazz btw!), New airlift air bags in the back (only 5lbs of air in them!!), and all new upper and lower control arm bushings. wow! Talk about driving around with a woody! The ride is so tight it's sick. You don't realise how shot the springs and shocks are til you replace them all! Have a look and let me know what you guys think!! :D

WOW,,very nice looking...
Pretty decieving ,the rear rims look wider than 8.5" I would have thoought 10":D :D

Thanks for the nice comments guys!! The nice part was I did it all at once.. so I was able to tell the difference in a huge way from replacing it all. Even the guy who installed it all for me (Bill Moss) could not wait to feel how it felt! I went to a show Friday night and last night and took the long long way home the car rides so nice now! :) Now to fix the A/C so I don't have to sweat my nuts off!! :) One project after another.. gotta love these Buicks! :D

Between two mopars at the show huh, hehe. Did you park there on purpose ? were they scared ?

Got some mean tires there, looks great.

I can vouch for the shocks, mine were so bad I didnt have to do them all to notice the difference.

Nice GN. Looks like it has lots of options (T-tops, body-side molding) but roll-up windows? Must be a rare combination of things.

Sometimes I wish I had purchased the wider stock rims instead of the Draglites but at the time aftermarket was the only option for wider rims. Maybe someday I'll go with the stock look again - I like it a lot on your car.

Wow, the car looks awesome. I just changed the rear springs and noticed a difference. I can't wait until the Bilstein shocks arrive from Kirban.

Sounds like my car. About the only interior option I have is rear window defrost.

I doubt it - I got a nice view of the backend of a Roadrunner once. It didn't even have headers on it. Just a nicely tuned 440 6bbl, 727 and 4:10 gears mild cam and porting on the stock heads. We can easily mod and go faster for less $$, but stock for stock a big block mopar or hemi is not to be taken lightly-wicked fast when they are dialed in.

thanks! The more I dig into my car and find things out from GM and the old owners it's crazy how rare it gets. My car has no options for the most part. No power windows, No power locks, and No cruise control for starters. I do have rear defog, tilt, and right side mirror adjustment. But the part that makes it rare about the no options is the car is a late build! Was ordered 09/14/1987 and left the factory for Sycaruse, NY on 09/18/1987 Hard to get a late build with no options. The dealer it was sold from was the largest GN dealer on the east coast from what I can gather. So I guess they could order whatever they wanted and when. It does have T-tops so I guess the car was built for somewhat light weight. I love bringing it back to life more and more! It sat for about 11 years in a garage.

Thanks again for the nice comments guys!! :)

Which springs did you use? I'm looking maybe to replace mine on the GN but don't want to raise the rear too much. Car looks great for having 60's on it.

I used the Kirban progressive springs on my T and it jacked the car up a little high for my taste, but its more of a drag car so I don't really care. Also, the front springs were not touched so the front may be sitting too low and worsening the effect.

Did you get the wheels from Gbodyparts?

Looks great.

I may be wrong but aren't the TTop Cars a tad heavier than non ttop cars with all other options being the same due to added metal in the roof for rollover support?

I was worried about it being to high in the back as well so I did all the springs to be sure plus for a better ride. The springs are Moog and the rim are from Gbodyparts
