Just got my 87 GN home after 10 years of storage, 14k miles. I hope to see everyone on the road in the spring

Welcome! I see that your in the Dallas area, check out the local Buick club online at Lone Star Performance Buick Club Online. Your broswer must be at least a 7.0 in order to view all of the pages.

Gives us some background on you and your car? Why so long in Storage? Got pics? How long have you owned the have the car? Any mods etc?

I did some shows with lone star buick back in '91- '92. We had an 86 in 86 and when Buick said 87 was the last year my dad got one and said when I finished college it was mine. We were in Colorado at the time. The car came here in '91 and went into storage around '95 because I had no other place to keep it. I got married and 4 kids later its time to teach the boys a thing or 2 about the car. I just sold my 70 Challenger and I also have a 64 malibu ss that needs restoring, my father-in-law was the original owner and it's stock except for 2 snow tires and 1 battery cable. I will start using my 86 century GS as my daily driver next month. I also have a '70 Wilcat 455 that I will be selling, I just need to get the title changed from Florida to Texas.
As for mods on the GN--None except for plug wires, those oem ones were no good, and an anti theft fuel cut off system. The original tires are still on the car.

I was wondering if I knew you? I started with the club back in and around that same time although I wasn't real active because of my job. I drove 70-72 GS' back then, I didn't purchase the GN I have now until '96.
It sounds like you have a lot of hot rods that's pretty .

I hope to meet you at a club event soon. I am currently the President of the club, we will get rained out at Redline tonight but we do have a carshow at Norma's Cafe next weekend in Farmers Branch details are on the website, hope to see ya there!

I don't think I will make this months event but I will plan on having my Century GS out next month.
