A new toy got delivered to the house Tuesday afternoon. I pratically stole an 85 Buick T-Type. White, blackout trim, tan interior, astro roof, loaded. Needs paint and a little body work, but most important, NO RUST. Found almost the entire motor in the trunk, everything except the block, crank and turbo. After inspecting the rod bearings, it looks like someone spun a bearing. Not sure what cylinder since the rods weren't marked. They had taken the time to steam clean and paint the under hood area gloss black and actually did a nice job. One less thing I have to do. The interior is bad sun faded, so it will be re-dye the plastic or find replacements.
The car wasn't in my driveway 2 hours before 2 friends had offered to buy it from me. I plan on dropping in my drivetrain from my totaled 86 GN, a leather interior kit from Jax's seat covers and fresh paint. It should make a nice little street car for my wife since the 86 GN was her's before being totaled. Any volunteers? ;)

Looks like a fun project. I have always liked the white with tan interior T's.

The neighbor picked at me last night. Asked me if I was trying to opening a Buick dealership  . Then said, "A least this one is not black" . Of course he thinks it's funny that I bought my wife a "souped up family car" when we got the GSE  .
