I'm posting this for a friend of mine...
He just got a new 2004R installed and when I rode with him I noticed a few things.
First, under WOT, the tranny shifts into drive wayyyy too soon. It shifts from 1st into 2nd, then immediately into Drive. It only stays in 2nd gear a fraction of a second.
Next, the converter never locks up. I can see the TCC checkbox on the powerlogger, so the ECM is giving the signal.
Finally, on the powerlogger screen, the 3rd gear checkbox is ALWAYS checked. What would cause that?
