i havent posted in a while, to bussy with work but i figure i needed to post again.
recently my transmission has been giving me major problems like slipping at WOT (kevlar bands) and not wanting to shift until around 4500 rpm so i decided to buy a new tranny.
i decided to buy a prebuilt one from somebody that knows trs than have a monte carlo special built by a local shop. i will let the local shop install it though.
does the stage 2 2004r from postons sound like a good tranny for my gn. also, how hard shifting is that transmission? does it have a shift kit? and what larger stall converter should i buy for street use daily?
so far ive got a Precision PTE44C Turbo, .80 A/R Exhaust Housing, 3.5 Inch Terry Houston Polished Stainless Steel Down Pipe, Precision Front Mount Intercooler, Lucas 42.5 lb Injectors, Poston Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, Kirban Adjustable Wastegate, Kirban Breather By Pass Kit, RJC Power Plate, Walbro Dual Fuel Pumps, Hot Wire Kit, Shift Kit, Scanmaster V2.1, Boost and Fuel Pressure Gauges, 8.5 Inch Eaton 3.43 Posi (LSD), Jim Testa Custom Burnt Chips, Caspers Field Fix Harness, K@N Filter, Chromed MAF Pipe, Hooker Cat Back Dual Exhaust, Stright Pipes, Test Pipe, Dump, and Bilstein HD Shocks.
