NEW Trans NO OD

finally started up the car after a long period of down time and a NEW FRESH Rebuild.....[ was waiting on free time which is hard to come buy AND My NEW tranny cooler / braided lines ]


long story short... drove today and it wouldnt shift into OD..... what would cause this.... could the valve be sticking b/c of sitting tooooo long?


I followed brake in to a "T".... adjusted TV.... whats up? PLEASE Help.

MINE wouldnt go into overdrive because of the brake switch wasnt releasing all the way, the one on the upper brake pedal, try lifting up off the brake with your foot towards you when going about 55 or 60. other than that i dont know maybe brian can help you.

The brake sw cuts off the lock up solenoid. I had to tweak the tv to get mine to shift into od correctly.
