I have been needing to get a truck for a long time. I need something basic to tug the car around on the trailer (open trailer) when needed and for being able to pick up stuff for the work we are doing on the house.
I ended up finding a 2013 Ram 1500 Express for $20K brand new. Regular cab, 5.7 V8. It has all the basics cloth bench, ac, power windows/locks plus the bed liner, class 4 hitch, heavy duty coolers, automatic retracting running boards. Everything I need in a truck.
The funny thing is looking at the performance figures for this truck it is about as fast as my buick was when it was new. (people seem to be running low 14's stock)
I tried finding a low mile used one but all I could find is the loaded extended or quad cabs. I was looking at F150's too but I couldn't find the combo of regular cab, 5.0 v8 or eco boost with a cloth bench and few options. I am really happy so far with this truck. Now if only my buick was black to match
