I got a new turbo and I have to put the studs in the exhaust myself. Should I use Loctite or anything on the studs when I put the studs in?

I used locktite on the studs going into the turbo and I used anti-seize when bolting to the header.

never use locktite on it. anti-seize only

really? i have had friends turbos where the whole stud fell out over time. Just to make sure we are on the same page, when you screw new studs into the exhaust housing you just screw them in with anti seize? I have never had studs come out on my before. Just trying to make sure it does not happen to me. :)

I know just to use anti seize on the bolts when I put the turbo on the car.

if you never want them to come out you can use loc-tite. but if you ever strip one or whatever its going to be a PITA to get out. even when i use anti seize the still like to frezze up in there. you can put a small amount on the 3 studs. the 4 bolts for the dp anti-seize for sure.

That is true if I ever need to take them out. Maybe I will just put them in without anything and if they fall out use Loctite next time.
