New Turbo

Ok so I just got my grand national yesterday and I feel like the luckiest person in the world I mean how many 19 year olds have the most badass car in the world but I already have the itch to make it faster the car is all original except for the 45lb injectors and the guy that had it before me ran all new exhaust what should I do first? I'm I'm the navy and this car is beautiful and I don't want to mess it up I been looking into different turbos and chips and things of that nature and it seems like my best best is turbonetics but I need some advice

No turbo upgrades, get that out of your head until alot of other stuff is done. Recent noobie post: http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/threads/new-turbo.378240/ First and formost you need a Scanmaster, hot wire for the fuel pump and a good upgraded fuelpump as well as a fresh tuneup.

Ok well it has a scanmaster and I remember the guy saying something about a Holley fuel pump and adjustable fuel regulator so where from there

You need supporting mods before you get into new turbos. Fisrt off all maintenance needs to be done. Second fuel pump, adjustable fpr and fuel pump hot wire. Next in steps to go faster I would add a razor alky kit and turn the boos up on the stock turbo. Making pretty decent power now you will probably blow the trans. time to get that built then you decide how fast you want to go many people put too large of a turbo on their car for their et goals. Lots of guys on here run precision turbos.

to your last poast you need to verify what you have I can tell you my car runs on blinker fluid but it doesn't mean its true. Do a bunch of reading. It might have a aftermarket fuel pump but it doesn't mean its hotwired.

ok. how do your scanmaster numbers look at idle? What are o2s and knock showing at wot?
