New wheel backspacing.

About to jump on a pair of 15x9 wheels with a 4 1/2-5/8" backspace.
Wanna make sure I'm not hurting myself by getting a wheel with too much backspace.
Would like to put some nice wide white letter tires, would rubbing be an issue? Shedding some light or some sort of advice would be great.

I'd say it should be fine. An 8" rim works well with a 4" back spacing and a 10" wheel works well witha 5" back spacing. A 4 1/2" BS on a 9" wheel should put you right where you want to be.
