XFI can store 4 different tunes internally and can they be switched on with a switch or by forcing a selection. Hence the thumbwheel.

Old boxes hold 1 tune.

Yep, it's similar to the thumbwheels used on the stock ecm, just wired differently. I've already sold out of my initial run. I will have more by the end of next week.
