Newbie manual transmission conversion

I'm new to this forum and Buick turbo motors and have been trying to do a search for information on hooking up a T56 manual transmission to a Buick Turbo. I have yet to use the correct combination of words to get any information. So I decided to post a thread. My questions.

Will a T56 bolt up to a Buick Turbo? If so which motor? I'm would like to put this combo into a GM 1/2 ton truck. Any suggestions would be great.

Probably won't get a whole lot of help. A manual tranny has been put behind a tb motor and it was slower. Also without a stutter box there is no way to build boost at the line. Also, you loose all boost when you shift. Also, not too many manuals that can handle the amount of torque that these things put out. Most mildly modded tb motors put out in excess of 500 lbs of torque.

I'm sure someone will chime in with the info if it will actually bolt up, but you'll probably need some BOP bellhousing or adapter to make it work.
