Hello everyone,
I do not have a turbo buick but a 1965 Ford Mustang coupe
(It can be seen on my website thefroginator.co.uk)
At the moment it's a N/A engine, A 342 ford with all the go fast parts on it....
However, I will be installing a Paxton supercharger (currently in my possession). (check out the engine rebuild page, and last page for a view of the engine)
I have been looking into a water injection system and the Alky one seems to be a popular one from what I can see.
Here's the dumb question for you.
I want to use the Alky before I install the supercharger (as it wont be fitted on the engine for at least a few months).
Can I use a carb spacer and adapt the injector to it (a bit like a NOS plate) or does the alky has to spray on top of the carb from the air cleaner down the carb?
Thank you for your time
