Actually i have tuned a couple of car's that went in the 6.80's 6.90's range, but i wont mention any names.. i tend to love tunning other peoples cars except mine. go figure.

wiked....... I have (what I consider) a slow, pretty ride, and I buy wax, and armor all, but still doesn't get me laid, maybe I'd better be like Lou, and pretent I'm to old to be playin games,
or, maybe I can just talk about it, and wish!

I don't touch anyone elses car ( tunning or other wise) as I can't afford to fix mine, let alone theirs.
if your comfortable with it, great, and I sure as he!! will not bad mouth someone who is trying to go faster, how many of you guys have had a 9 second ride? any idea of the work involved to build and maintain one?
Most of my posts are meant in fun, and I do support and appreciate all of you, your a great source of info, and the comraraderie is the best I've experienced in a long time.
I look forward to our gatherings, and I even will put up with Wells!( gotcha gary!)

I would like to keep my car in one piece and not inspecting parts on the floor, 12.55 which BTW was done on a fat tune and a blistering 1.96 sixty foot due to tire spin and sucky track is not too bad for a street car, true wax doesnt make a car fast but it sure makes it look really pretty, i go by my own saying which is "speed gets you killed", "wax and shinny armor all tires gets your laid" amen...[/QUOTE

SOON. i just heard from a friend that the car was at the drag strip last night.. no times yet, but i heard it was HOTTTT.. like low 90's upper 80's with 60% humidity (65% chance of rain last night).. i dont care what it ran, i just want it out here. i haven't seen it or drove it for 10 months :frown: .

You will amaze me when you take a full weight GN with cold AC, power seats,cruise control and all, stick a stock 109 block and make it go high 9's or low 10's but with a Toyota Banana rice burner topping a whooping 2,600 pnds you should be ashamed you didn't make 9's and the motor came apart on you before you hit the magic 9's it must be frustrating not to mention expensive. Scott do yourself a favor and quit while your ahead but then again I know you won't because you like embarrassing yourself and I understand your only 15 yrs old.. See you at the track if i ever make it there.. LOL

In all fairness to harold I watched his run and I agree with his assement of the car it was fat going down the track and his 60 foot was bad.But now lets remember this was his first time at the track and which one of us did not have butterflies the frist time we pulled it to those lights? I think everybody should try thier car at the track at least once it gives you a place to start from. If you want to go fast then keep working at it but I think there is enough room in the Buick World for guys who just want thier car to look good.Thats my 2 cents worth.

You're right, and i will do whatever i want and like with all those parts that are on my car last i remember i paid for them and nobody is going to tell me what to do with it or how to tune it .. all that my car need is a little tunning which i can do myself to make it wiked fast,with all honestly i like it to go slow this way people can look and appreciate what a real piece of machinery and american history looks like which btw is more than i can say for your yellow bucket, when your not breaking rear ends you are breaking motors., way to go dude your my Hero .. all your egging and comments wont make me go to the track more often and become another drag racer like yourself, I am old enough to know that i can spend much of that time doing more productive things like, spending time with my old lady or going for a bike ride along the strand by the beach.. heck i even hate the smell or burning rubber it makes me want to puke.. LOL

PS: Do me a favor and buy a real GN, T or T type, this way you can come hang out with us at our get togethers and become once and for all part of the family right now you are just and outcast, i can honestly say that I truly detect lots of envy on your post towards my car if you need help buying one, i know where there are 2 nice Gn's for sale at a good price and i can help you finance it if you like, but a word of warning my interest rates for 10K are very high and i dont think you can afford it..
