NGK's UR4's 5's and 6's

I went to the NGK website and they only list UR4's for our cars but I see people running 5's and 6's. I wanted to run the 5's is this ok.

NGK UR5's are the accepted standard with iron heads requiring the short thread UR5 It's when you get into the GN1's you'll need the longer reaching threads of the NGK TR5's , you'll see youre in good company with the UR5's. HTH

yes they are all the same size.

Went to NAPA and they only had UR45's

I said thats OK I will find out where I need to get them.

You could order them from Summit. They are about $2.50 a piece from them. I dont know how fast you need them but its an option.

I run the same UR5's they like a close .28 GAP....!!! But that may just be my car an 4 of my friends cars ...

How about "what's the difference"!!!! There is not a spark plug out there that you can gap over a 1/4"..Much less .28

Go to Kragen and ask for NGKs for a 92 GMC Typhoon...they use UR5s as a direct OEM replacement. :wink:

Went to kragens out in the Desert while visiting

Got the UR5's. I gapped them at .030 and "I think she likes it, she likes it Alot". I was coming on my way back home hoping not to get into any trouble because the 110 I got out in Indio was getting low. Low and behold and BAD A--- Pretty Blue Supra all tricked and raced out decides they want to show me there car and jump in between me and the car ahead with 2 inches. Well, I dont know if he wanted to race, or to see if it was a real Grand National, Lets just say I finally felt what the sweet spot for the TA 61 feels like, scared the Sh------ out of me, If he didnt know know he knows. I just felt like he was trying to punk me and ooooh WEEEE, the car got on. So now he knows. Thanks guys for all the input.
