I recently had a problem with my 2004R trans. not shifting out of first gear. Mark to the rescue at PTS and after several e-mails back and forth my problem was determined to be a governor spring. Because I live in So. Ca. and in a rush for everything, I decided to go over to Art Carr and see what they had on the shelf to get me back on the road. Steve not only gave me the spring, governor gasket and pan gasket; they also installed the spring on the gov. for me. Thanks to both Mark and Steve for going above and beyond normal customer sevice.
Much appreciated,
Jeff

Glad we could help......

and glad to see it worked out well and that there are other willing to help out as well...... :D

I just had my 9" convertor reworked at AC in Hunington beach. Steve seems like a good guy. They are extremely busy right now so allow lots of time if you need anything by mail.

Mitch, I would agree with you, they do seem to be very busy. It is funny to see some of the same people at this current location as I saw at the orginial shop in Fountain Valley 6 - 7 years ago. That is when I had my first and last rebuild on the 200 4R. Steve spent over an hour with me explaining the differences of the rebuilds of today VS that of 6 years ago.

Rebuilds for our trannies today don't even compare to rebuilds of 2-3 years ago!!! You'd be amazed at how far we've come.
