Yeah no kidding....not sure if it's worth the asking price or not, but I sure wouldn't kick it out of my garage.

The price might be a *little* on the high side but not by a whole lot. I think 17k would grab a buyer real quick.

It's still hard to tell if it's really a low mileage car or if it had a recent frame off resto. I guess I would have to see it in person to beleive it. It almost looks too clean underneith.

Yeah underside was painted. I dont remember the axle being painted. The frame wasn't painted either. All GM used was a black wax like creosoat to keep it from rusting.

A couple of things I noticed. Oil fill tube on backwards and the vacuum lines on top of the throttle body are misaligned. AC hose is bent on top of the radiator. Brand X battery. Miles look legit based on the condition of the engine compartment and interior.

Seems to me I remember that car. That dumb a$$ pin stripe just screams out for some reason. There was a car from Tampa that was posted some time back that I remember for some reason. I'll see if I can dig up the thread.

I've seen that car a couple months ago.

It's a legit low miler. Bought and sold back and forth by 2 friends.

It's not for me but nice.

I found the car I was thinking of and it was a red 86 T-Type. Not as clean as this 87 TR.
