Jeez, jlat! Why didn't you take up Nick on his offer to help you with your problem? I could see he was doing his best to solve it for you.....if you had to pay return shipping, so in hell what? It's only a little money, no big deal to ship......Nick was TRYING to help you, like he helps everyone else here on the board.....why didn't you let him? He wasn't trying to screw you over......that's not Nick's character at all.....never heard of the guy doing something like that to anyone here as long as I've been on the board. Never. I greatly admire the guy.

Write him a letter of apology......you'd might be surprised by the results...but stop bad mouthing a trusted, well respected guy here....it's not fair to him nor all of us. Capiche? Be nice!

Ironically, it's an acronym for "I'll be blasting you!" , a saying from the old TV show Major Mudd.

It was popular (mostly in the Northeast) in the early 60's.

Nick is a straight up guy to deal with, I've never seen him refuse to try and rectify a deal that didn't work out the way his customer wanted it to. Not once.

It seems to me that jlat has issues with many here, he probably has one with me now, too.

Come on, IBBY! You mean to say Nick didn't even try to resolve this with you? Something doesn't quite add up here, especially when you're dealing with a very honest man. Just doesn't compute. Of course, Brucie here doesn't know the whole story, so I'll quit yapping about it.....I do know that Nick is a very trusted ,likable, honest fellow. I mean, who else on earth would allow humming birds to take up residence in his garage from birth to flight from the nest? You're the only guy I've seen on here to have a bad opinion of him.....why don't you give him a call, apologize for your unkind words and try to work it out with him? Capiche?

Yes, ok....I was just referring that I did butt into your thread.....I felt like I should just read it and about your remarks about Nick, but had to jump in when I felt Nick wasn't being treated fairly......it is your thread, and I kind of felt like I was intruding......I do understand what you're saying and I appreciate that....you're a good guy yourself on this forum......still, I just don't understand IBBY's behavior.....he's usually not like that.....still, I'll not tolerate crap thrown at Nick......he's our buddy and most trusted TurboBuick fella here.
