Nintendo Wii

OK....I live in the Detroit MI area and cannot find a Nintendo Wii system in any of the stores. They're either selling out or not just getting many in stock. My kids want this for Christmas. I've asked at some of the local stores and from what I'm hearing it may be hard to get one.

Anyone out there across the "forum map" see any of these at the stores for sale?? I guess what I'm asking is .....if someone has the potential to get a system for me? I'll of course pay for the price of it plus whatever it costs to ship it to me. Worth asking anyway. Chris

I was looking for one for a while and finally found a consistent place to find them. Do you have a Fry's electronics near you? You need to check with them each week (my store usually had about 40 units come in Thursday night on a truck and they would all be sold by 11am on Friday). The shipments seemed to come in about every 4-6 weeks. if you make friends with a worker there and keep calling - then just be on the doorstep Friday first thing.... It was a lot of work - but it was worth it - the kids like it.

Stand up guy and because of him I cant watch TV on my plasma anymore. My son has taken over the TV cuz the Wii looks better on it! Good luck its a blast to play.

sorry about that. But hell you shouldnt be watching tv anyways theres lots of work on the buick you could be doing

I had no idea these games are so expensive! I recently looked at the Wii in some bundle form... Nearly $600!! I was shocked because it was Wallyworld to boot, and that ended that!

i think that they are pretty cool but i have to spend my money on buick parts and i dont have enough free time to play it anyways

Thanks for all who offered to help me out. Greatly appreciated. My wife just got the only 1 that was shipped to a local store. Whew! Now I can start saving up for Buick parts again!
