i have the edelbrock wet n02 setup on my car. i've been playing around with it recently, turning off the bottls and spraying just fuel, just like a 7th injector.
i don't know why but it doesn't do a thing. if i use a small (.024, 025 and 026) nossel it doesnt' do a thing at all, doesn't reduce knock what so ever. if i go a little bigger, .028 and .030 the motor just bogs down, knock does go away but so does all power.
I remember hearing abut the 7th injector that would help reduce knock. my thoughts are maybe if i were knocking because the injectors wouldn't keep up and it was going lean, then it would help but with the sane boost levels i'm running now i'm just pointlessly dumping fuel. does anyone have any ideas of making this an effective knock reducing thing? i'm getting around 3-4 deg. of knock that i'd rather not see on the street. i'm not trying to get 20#psi out of it, and not using it as a replacement for race fuel. i'd just like to controll the little bits of knock i get on the street.
