nitrous on '85 gn

Is it safe to put a 50 to 70 shot of nitrous on non intercooledGN?if so what else can i do to make fast?I know fuel pump and regulator but what can i do to really make it scream?The car already has 2 -1/2 poston exhaust shift kit and 38.000 original miles.I need help so i can post some good numbers.

I would go with bigger injectors , turbo , cam , down pipe, intake, and lots more. There a lot of things you can do to these cars to get power. With the sig i have at the bottom i could have want alot faster with a scan tool and no exhust leaks in the header, it does not take much to go fast just the right parts.

motorhead - u can use the spray but in the long run the other items will be cheaper...trust me on that!

Thanks NOSjohnWE4, i cant wait to try it out with all the new parts and bigger turbo.


I would stay away from the nos for now and get a scan tool if you dont have one, start tuning and get good at it before you put it on your car.

Go with the the bigger turbo, injectors and down pipe, and some little odds and ends. with the right mods you wont need the nos.

Hey motorhead the mods look ok so far with the reg and fur=el pump on the way.With that Nos i hope you have a scan tool if not make that your next mod on your list. If your car is running good and in good shape you should get a good time with what you have.

But if you want to go fast i would intercool it , drop a bigger turbo on with some bigger injectors. As for the 2800 stall i just got mine and did not run it yet , i was running the stock trans and stall with my 12.6 run.
