It's a spray bar that goes in front of the intercooler, uses CO2.
Has anyone tried this or this just a gay ricer mod? they CLAIM 50+HP on a honda. They didn't give details about the test.
I e-mailed them about prices and fit............crickets...............

I could see how it would work, I play alot of paintball and when i use CO2 instead of compresses O2, the CO2 tanks get very cold and they actually can start to ice up. But I don't see how it could be practical at all unless it's a strip only mod, the tanks would run empty before you get around the block, unless your using a 200 oz. CO2 tank.

From what it looks like it's sort of like a NOS seup, well it doesn't go into the motor but it has a sol. valve like nos and a orfice before the spray bar or spray loop to be exact.
I don't think it would use any more CO2 than a 100 shot of NOS uses from a 10lb bottle, 7 passes.

I am in the process of installing one. The kit comes with a 5 lb bottle I will spray the intercooler with nitrous. It will basically freeze the intercooler. The only thing I am hoping to do is cool the intake charge, alot. I don't expect 50 hp but I think it will help. Its cheaper then a front mount.
I had a 35 hp kit on the car but basically did'nt have the balls to use it so go ahead get your ribs in I don't mind! It won't take long to finish the install. I will let you guys know how it works.

History repeating itself. A similar setup cost Jim DeAllesandro the finals of the class he was racing in back in the early 90s. He kept having problems with CO2 getting sucked into the engine and causing the engine to die.

Maybe with enough deflection and some sort of cold air kit you could make it work. I seriously doubt there are any great benefits to doing anything like this.

I have a slightly modified NX cooler kit on my car! I use the purge solinoid to activate it. (nitrous as cooling agent) I can either turn it on and turn it off for a quick cool down. Or leave the switch on and when the car is floored it sprays until you let off. I have not used it at the track yet, but it does work to some degree. Your not gonna pick up 50 hp, but some yes! On a hot day i can touch the back of the IC and it is hot to the touch........spray it down for about 3-5 seconds and it is cool to the touch. I just bought the ring so i dont have much invested in my kit, but as far as hot days at the track.......its bound to help! MHO its worth about 200 bucks max!
