No 1-2 Shift...

I have a 200-R4 that will not shift into 2nd no matter what the throttle position (or valve adjustment) or rpm. The transmission has a new band (originally thought to be the problem) but that did not help. Any ideas? The problem appeared overnight...so it seems it is not a wear related item but something broke/was damaged.

Did it work at all after installing the new band? If not, perhaps the band jumped off the anchor during installation or the servo pin missed the band lug.

Did anybody check the govenor first before determining it was the band? Other possibilities are stuck valve in the 1-2 valvetrain, leak in 1-2 accumulator system, band anchor pin broke or hole woddled out, or if your real lucky just a blown'leaking seal in the servo. Who diagnosised it and who did the rebuild? What do they have to say? If it "literally" happened sitting overnite my guess would be stuck valve or servo seal, servo seal being the easiest to check.
