I just installed razors kit, I didnt put any of the lights in yet but I will later. I tested out the kit today and I am getting knock at anything above #16 of boost, the highest being 6.3. Anyways, I know it working because it bogs when I test it. Anyone know? I am using denatured alcohol at the moment, getting meth later. thanks for anyhelp.

"Could" be lots of things...What chip ? FP settings ??, o2;s ?? Where is the blue knob on the controller ?? I'd think that at 16psi, you shouldnt need any alky ;)

Did you wire in the green wire from the 3 bar MAP? I dont' know but I wired all the lights in with the PAC, etc and am able to run 22lbs of boost with 0.0 knock on a TT 100 octain chip.

I just installed my spare tire, I didn't put any of the lugs nuts on but I will later. I drove the car and the wheel fell off. It had air in it when I tested it...... Why did it fall off, anyone know? J/K :D

It bogs when you test it with the button, without the turn on led, how do you know it's coming on with boost? You hooked the MAP sensor up I hope? If you paid to have the kit installed, would it be satisfactory for them to not hook up everything? Why is it differant if you install it? Make time to install the rest of the kit dude...... "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right!"

I have Razor's kit and run 25# with no knock on meth. It bogs when you hit the test button. It also lights the light. HMMM? It was professionally installed.

I always think I am a mechanic until I start working on this black car.

russ merritt, You used to work at dealer didn't you?

Ok, well when you hit the test button, isnt that supposed to "test" if it was spraying, and it sprays. If I had the time to finish I would< its just that that I am running around doing alot of stuff. I installed it and yes it is connected to the MAP sensor. anyone else have any suggestions?

The green wire may be hooked to the MAP , but is it hooked up to the controller under the dash? might wanna talk to your wiring guy =)

, if you have a chip burned for high boost (23-25) and for alky and try to run at 16 with alky spraying you could have rich knocking

with an alky chip (23-20 timing ) you should be able to run at 16# with the alky off . if you cant do that before the alky went in you need to fix your car

read razors thread on tuning the alky in the sticky at the top of the forum and follow it from the begining.

alky not firing

 .........ahhhhh your too funny, yeah its hooked up, i think it goes to the pac box if i remember right. Gotta go over it all again and compare it to my car, that currently has 5000 exhaust leaks. We will get it done this weekend while scott does a top secret install, that needs area51 clearance. ;)

If i remember right, the car was getting knock at 16lbs pre-alky. I dont know why, but it was.

knock

If the alky kit is hooked up correctly then I would look somewhere else. I have heard of a bad coilpack & module being the culpret in a few turbo regals including mine.

If possible anymore details on those situations. How did the discovery come about. How did those items cause low boost knock

Ok well, now I have another problem. I just installed the sensor lights and now on the fuse box of the alky kit I am getting a positive charge on the negative side, so now the pump wont even turn on. any help would be great because I am about to rip it all out.

When an install issue arises, it is always best to call the MFG to obtain support. This not only applies to my system but "anything" installed on the car.

Its only few wires that get hooked up.

I'm only a phone call away during the week. 8am-7pm EST.

Last line of the install manual says...

11) Contact

If any part of this procedure is unclear, or issue arises, please contact me for assistance. It is my pleasure in helping you make the car go fast and stay together. Julio Don 1-727-526-9724

The internet is great for diagnosing issues.. but you pay for a system and not use the support provided.. then try and have the issue fixed over the net on an open forum.. Without ever calling the MFG for assistance.. This is the hard way to go about getting help. Sorry my instructions were not clearer as to making the call.

I'll be back taking calls on Monday.

Hey Razor, its not that the instructions are unclear its just that it was spraying before but now its not and I was going to take it to the track this weekend. Oh well, Ill call you monday. thanks
