My friend just got a monte and it shifts great. Firm and quick. It will go through all the the gears up and down but it will not downshift at any speed if the pedal is floored. The tv cable is hooked up properly and I can feel tension it I manually pull on it. I really do not have any background info on the trans since it came with the car. We are debating weather or not to build one or try to figure out what is wrong with this one. Does anyone have any ideas.
