Been having new roof on my house done past few days.

When I pulled the GN out of the garage
3 of 4 guys in the crew took a stab at the motor/car.

1# thats a regal. Yeah man it would make a good low rider
He was a Spanish dude from cali.
He kept telling me they have lots of low riders in cali.

#2 Yeah that has the rocket 350 in it. NOPE

#3 What size v-8 does that have?
It doesn't
#3 face dropped when I said it was a v-6.
But I said it was turbocharged & faster then most v-8's

#4 He was the smartest he said nothing

By THE WAY

When you have workers doing a tough job on your house.

Don't forget to offer some cold drinks or buy them donuts.
I little thoughtful gesture goes a long way.
They will treat you & your home better.

when i had my windows installed i baught them a chicken dinner and they even moped up afterwards:D my uncle got a cable guy drunk one time and now recieves every pay channel for free.

Ah yes, it pays to bribe local service technicians. Ask me about my cable traps ;)

Well...not really bribe, just let them know you appreciate what they're doing for you.
My mother had her roof redone recently after hail damage and we had a crew of hispanics doing the job. My mom is mexican so she gave them some chicken, beer and salsa she makes herself (hot stuff) and speaking to them in spanish made them more at ease and they worked thier a$$es off for her. They did an excellant job and picked up every little piece of roofing and nail when they finished the job. One of the crew even offered to do any odd jobs around the house that she needed done. Small gestures and good hot sauce can get you a long way:cool:
