no overdrive at track

[my86turbot]

went to track 1/8 mile 1st run 7.70 @87 mph
car did not shift to overdrive 2nd run 7.50@90 mph car
shifted fine . 3rd and last run 7.70 @87 no overdrive .
on the way home shifted fine overdrive worked ??????
the trans has about 2000 miles since rebuild ac 3500 stall

I was told you don't use overdrive at the track. Not even in the 1/4 mile unless you are over-revving for some reason.

Drive not over-drive is used.

That's all I know however.

ok i see then it was no shift to drive my mistake car over reved real bad no shift
