I'm sure this has been discussed, but I got tired of looking for it in the searched posts so I figured I'd just ask. Would it be effective to inject the alky before the turbo? Someone advised me that this would work and would enable me to make a progressive system without useing a pump or anything. Just use the boost to pump the alky. I just wanted to hear what you guys had to say as he wasn't a TR guy. TIA

Alcohol is corrossive. And you need it to get into the cylinder as fast as possible...the farther away it is, the longer it will take to do its work.

Plus shooting a liquid into the turbo..I wont. Nitrous is a totally different thing. Alcohol works on low pressure hence why I call it a liquid.

And when you say progressive..you mean use the engine boost for a pump? Not enough boost to do that. And injecting before turbo wont increase the alcohol amount unless the pump pressure output is increased so volume is increased.

Whats the old west saying..you first :)

Thanks for the advice. I ain't itchin' for a fight so I reckon I'll just use the tried and true method. :)
