No sound

Guys, my 86 GN has the concert sound option. Its all stock. The radio just quit without any warning. The power antenna comes up, the radio lights up, but there is no sound. Not even static. I am little pissed because I hate this nickle and dime crap on these cars.

Sounds like the output IC is dead.

Ok. What exactly is that and how can I fix it? Where in the radio is it?

Not a "consumer" item. Radio is repair shop bound. Be sure they can fix AC/Delco. Not too many shops have the schematics. When I had one of mine repaired, I had to send it to Denver, but that was way back in the early 90's and many $$$'s. I've replaced the factory head unit with aftermarket a long time ago.
