I think I've replaced my crank sensor twice over the years. All I did was make sure the reluctor went through the correct slot. Bolted it on, turned the key. Car started with no issues.

Once I got it through the right slot it started right up. I initially did not...

Was just a matter of figuring out which stupid mistake I made. I’d much rather make that mistake than something on the chain or gearset!
