no vacuum, valve or line in tranny?

we suspect a vacuum leak in our 87 3.8 turbo, we heard some rumours that there is a valve somewhere in the tranny that can get clogged or go bad and disrupt the vacuum system, do you have any ideais about this?

200-4r does not have the vacuum modulator. some regular regals had the th350 trans which does, but yours should have no vacuum to the trans.
