noid light

Will one of those 4 dollar lights that you clip one end to a ground and pierce the wire getting checked with the other end?What noid light do you guys reccomend for checking injector harness? This is the first time i've needed to check this type of problem. Thanks

Nobody knows what a noid light is or what we check our ingector harness with.

The noid light plugs into the injector harness like the injector. Just unplug an injector and plug the light in.

They cost under $10 and are available at most parts stores (AutoZone,Pep Boys ect.)

Thanks for your answer Do you buy them for your specific vehicle or manufacturer or type of fi.
I called about 5 auto parts stores in the area,champion,checker,bumper to bumper,etc.etc. and none had them or they were out. Ordered online,but it comes with 6 different lights for specific f.i. Example: PTI,GM TBI,BOUSCH.
Just use the one that fits in your type of harness connecter????
Maybe it's time to sell. This is starting to become a more time consuming hobby than I want.

If you have SFI then get the TPI noid light. Works for me HTH

If you have a test light you can do the same kind of test and test both sides of the plug for each injector. With the key on the one side of each plug should be hot with 12+ volts or what ever your battery voltage is. Once you have verified this take your test light and hook to 12V positive. Now plug into the other side of the injector plug. Crank Car and see if the test light lights. This will determine if both sides are functioning correctly. Hope this helps.
