Non lockup valve correct orientation

I'm getting ready to install an Art Carr non lockup valve assembly but I need to know what the correct orientation of the parts are. Hopefully someone will know.

HOW,
You install the end with the cup plug first. Install with the 2 holes in the valve facing out, to the outer edge of the pump.
Don`t forget to install the plug in the pump half as well.
