Yeah, I didn't see one TR racing, either. Hopefully that will change this year. National Trail is under new ownership this year, too. Sounds like they are going to update their facilities.

Agreed. It's too bad, they've had some good events go through there. It sounds like BPG is looking into the possibility of having the event there again now that the track *should* be updated

I thought the BPG folded? I haven't heard a thing about them for over a year.

The event definitely folded, but I think the group still exists. I could be wrong, though.

They merged with the BCA if I remember correctly. Last time I heard, the BCA wanted little or nothing to do with drag racing.

I know my local BCA doesn't hardly do anything public. When they asked me to join I declined because I saw no point in joining since pretty much nothing goes on with the club. They put on a great car show last year and years prior but this year they aren't doing it nor do they have plans to represent the club at any big car events. Really disappointing. Why even have a club if you don't participate in anything? Things like this make me realize why the GS Nats and a lot of the other Buick events are dying.

I think BPG became the performance division of BCA, but not sure if they will be able to do their event because BCA doesnt do racing for liability purposes. But i am sure there is a loophole around that for sure . Would be cool to have an Ohio Buick event. Went from having Norwalk and Columbus to nothing. We will see.I am optimistic something will happen since the area is a hot bed for GS and TR owners alike!

I know the Dick Miller BOC event is happening again this year at norwalk. Hopefully more Buicks show up then the handful that showed last year. But that is the only Buick event I know of in Ohio, and I live here.

It would be nice if we could just rent a track in Ohio and extend it to everyone else and make our own Buick event, but that would probably step on toes
